Given my car only it's second wash today.

It's Yellow and I live in the countryside so it was absolutely caked in bugs. Got the majority off but some black splodges were absolutely stuck fast. What's the best way of removing them?

Yes, a bit harsh but if you saw the amount of stone chips and scratches on my motor you'd understand. There's a bit of difference between a car worth £3k to £15k!

(Although on the plus side I never have to worry about parking in a tight space, driving down a road where the hedge is handing into the road etc)

I use the Autoglym spray and then use a sponge thats got sort of a net a net around it which brings them off a treat and hasn't damaged my paintwork. you can get the sponge's from halfords, about £2 ish,

Tony

PS - the fly situation is one of the reasons I didn't go for yellow this time round!!!!!

Cheers. Will give that a crack. Autoglym stuff was on offer in Halfords last time I was in there. Currently use the shampoo and resin polish.

Really annoying spending 2 and a half hours cleaning the car and it not be completely clean. [:@]
