It's very easy and just the case of unclipping the injectors and unbolting the intake manifold.
Make sure you clean around the injectors/manifold/head VERY well before removing it as any debris WILL fall into the valve cavities

Yeah as willie said, it's a reletively easy job if you know what your doing, have a good look at the actions you need to make and whatvto undoe before you dive in, I've found it useful to have another pair of hands around to help hold the fuel rail and pipes out of the way while your withrawing the manifold from it's location, do again as willie said and use a Hoover to suck any debris that sits in the cavities between the inlet ports (you'll see the debris if you take a look) suck all that up before you undoe the manifold, put a strip of duck tape across all of the ports once the manifold is removed to stop heaven forbid a screw entering your engine.

Torque for refitting is 10nm, and I found it easier to use a long ball hex socket as they can be used at an angle (do not overtighten manifold bolts 10nm is ample)

10nm is 7.3ft lbs if you have a torque wrench in ft lb.

Tighten manifold bolts from the centre out top and bottom (start in the middle work your way out) very important!!!

thanks for the info, gonna get mine done soon too. just waiting for my phenolic gasket to turn up...have a polished rocker and manifold to fit.

Yeah I fitted a newsouth gaskett, I notices a huge difference in the throttle response felt more torque too I guess due to the air staying cooler right before it enters the intake ports, the manifold is never hot to touch now great mod ;)
