Removing Rain-X

Got some new stickers coming (today hopefully) and they'll be goin on the windows! I know people have said they've had problems with some stickers peeling off etc, and I was wondering if this was due to products such as rain-x being left on!

I've had no problem with stickers in the past, but when I applied them, I had never had rain-x on!

So I guess before applying the new ones, I need to make sure the windows are 100% clean and free from any polish/rain-x etc. Question is, how???

With or without former " gluebased " products on the glass/window suface.
I usually remove or clean my glass/window surfaces with 100% alcohol ingredient.
And then apply something that addresses to glass / windows surface for cleaning.
Of course you must not be outside.
In a matter of minutes something with stick on the glass and everything will go to waste.

Anyhow, I advice you to find an empty parking space ( indoors ), proceed with the cleansing and then apply tha sticker.

Depending on the dimensions you need tou use something like a telephone card in order to avoid any "pufs" or to be more specific "bubbles" while applying.

The telephone card made out of plastic will be your guide and pressing tool.

they're only small SCN stickers, and one big en!

Someone on DW has suggested using White Spirts (apply to microfibre, and rub on window to avoid it trickeling onto paintwork

My opinion is the following.

Surelly a brand name product, made for such reasons is usually recomended by proffesionals.
But does it worth to spend a lot of money for this kind of things?

I usually clean my windows with the way I told you before, Iwas carefull though with plastic and painted places but it did work an also to the interior and exterior side of the window.

Imagine that sometimes when it rains my windows do not blur inside. If you wish to do such a thing "I fall" but .... couple of pounds or Euros will be in your pocket.

you Just need to be a little carefull.
