it means your car doesn’t currently have auto wipers, 8N6 is with automatic lights and wipers.

Try the changes I listed above. If it works then ETKA & parts link are correct and you have the correct sensor

If it doesn’t work then ETKA & partslink are wrong (to be fair partslink data comes from the same system as ETKA), and you don’t have the correct sensor installed. Install the correct sensor and with those coding changes everything will work

Lastly, I need rain sensor and wires? And ideas that are the part numbers and from where could i buy a kit? I find it very hard to remove all trims and mirrors in this car

The minimum you’ll have is a humidity sensor. The wiring will be there. The part number is on both of the screenshots I posted highlighted in bold text

Try the list I gave you, if it works then great. If it doesn’t, order the sensor and install

Hi @East Yorkshire Retrofits , I'm trying to enable this in my Seat Leon mk4 and it fails for me with "Functions cancelled, marginal conditions have not been met" when I'm trying to do the following step:

RLFS_RLS Codierung (KII05)
Regensensorbetrieb Aus -> Ein

All the other changes worked! It's only that one that I can not enable.
Any idea what am I missing here ?

It's the same for 8N4/8N6, just varies by model. Can you see the sensor PN in the identification? It should show as a subsystem of 09

I am using the OBDeleven VAG (so pro verson) and I am getting an “Unavailable” when clicking on the Subsystem of 09

is this expected? Or any idea how else to get the sensor PN ?

Hello again. I replace my windshield. And I saw what sensor I had installed. Please see the photos. You can also see the wiring, the switch, etc. When I Google the part number of my own sensor it seems that its already a rain sensor along with humidity and light. But I do NOT have rain sensor at all. Please see the wiring. What can I do to have rain sensor please? AI says that I have the right sensor but not the right wiring.

The wiring is just power, ground and LIN. Your wiring is fine

The stalks are the same for cars with/without auto lights & wipers.

If my wiring is fine, the sensor is fine, then why I don't have auto wipers? My car doesn't seem to have rain sensor and I know lot of people with the same exact car that also DON'T have rain sensor. We have only light and humidity. What can I do?
