I imagine it being the same as the front passengers door card.

1. Remove cover of grab handle by putting your nails in between the joint and pull hard
2. Can't really see properly from your photo but i imagine their is a cap on the window winder and there will be a torx or philips head screw behind that in order to remove the lever.
3. At the bottom of the door card, there will be 2 or 3 torx screws, remove these
4. Inside the grab handle, there will be two big philips head screws, remove these.
5. Pull the bottom of the door card towards you untill enough clips are unclipped to allow access to the door handle mechanism.
6. Follow the cable from right to left towards the back of the handle, you will see a hook which connects to the chrome handle, unhook this.
7. Keep pulling the door card towards you untill all the remaining clips are unclipped.
8. Start at one edge of the door and pull the door card upwards to release it from the seal.

Any questions just ask.

there is nothing on the window winder to allow me to take it off :/

there is no screws at the bottom of the rear door card either :/ no way of undoing it other than behind the grab handle however it still does not want to come off :(

any other thoughts?

maybe its just clips instead of screws at the bottom, try and pull out the bottom of the door card. Also check that there are no screws at either side

As for the window winder, maybe the winder comes off by screwing it in the opposite direction. It's hard to say without seeing it in person.

I managed to get them off today. Few pics if anyone is looking for this.

Inside of the door card looks like this:

1. First step is to pry open the grabhandle and undo the 2 screws there.
2. Next you have to undo a clip on the window winder, I did this using a small kinife. The winder then just pulls off.
3. The only thing holding the door card in now is a lot of clips so pull hard.
4. Then push the door card hard from the bottom to release it from the window seal.
5. Unhook the door cable and you're done.

Closer pic of the clips:

A lot of my clips broke or stayed in the door but I had spares from my new door card.

I've just removed the rear door card on my Ibiza and I was struggling with step 2 above so thought I'd elaborate for future readers:

To remove the window winder you push the round piece of plastic on the winder (closest to the door panel) in the opposite direction to the main shaft of the winder. It will click and the whole winder can then simply slide off.
