Hi People

Whats the best product i can buy to remove/cover up swirls by hand. I know i cant get rid of them completely without a machine polish but i cant afford to get that done at the minute. Maybe in the near future.

Thanks

John

A trip round a mates or someone with a machine polisher is probably the best and easiest option. Like I de-swirl cars for £25 and most of that goes on the pads and polishes, time is free.
By hand it will take a fair bit of elbow grease and something like Sonus products and applicator to do.

where do you live ;)

turtlewax ice ....covers them up and is an amazing product try it out mate grab some down halfords

Depends on how bad the swirls are......Try Megs Scratch X I used to many years before I started Detailing for a living......great stuff and not stupidly abraisive like T-Cut and others which will remove your clear coat and then your colour coat:cry:

remember VAG paints have a harder clearcoat finish than most other car like ford/vxl i think the recent sunshine has made everyone go swirl mad down here in somerset i`ve taken 5 booking since saturday for full paint corrections !!!
