Removing the Aerial?? with anti theft ?

Bought a new smaller aerial, and I cant remove the standard one as its got some anti theft crap so I cant remove it! It goes loose but just wont come off.

Anyone know how to remove it?

If its the same as the Leon one ... unscrew it and give it a good firm pull up

yes just unscrew it then give it a good pull.sometimes they come easy,some are real sods.i had to put a cloth under mine and prize it off slowly

Just keep pulling at it from different angles. It will come off eventually.

be careful you don't dent you roof! some peoples seem to be tougher than others mine came off with not much effort at all.

yup ive done two me and my m8s they do come off eventually,just hold the base and pull directly up!!!!it will come.....

I done the pikey mod and cut it down to the stubby bit with pliers and then your left with an instant bee sting! (smart as!) lol

Just pull it slowly m8 while wiggling and it will come off

Just be brave, one hand on the base of the aerial and one on the aerial itself, it will come off! Just need to man up a bit!

Yeah I got mine off, but the ****ing aerial i bought does not fit! Really gutted! Only cost mt 5.99 though.

you might be able to get an adapter for the thread or something. But i just bought an original s2000 aerial from flea bay for £11 and it fits perfect. Just have a large scrape on my hand from pulling out the old "anti theft" one.

I dont get it! Anti theft, but yet, you just pull it off? hmmmm!

Id rather loose an aerial to a theivin scum bag than have them denting the out of my roof trying to get it off!
