resonated / non resonated??

hi,
whats the difference between resonated and non resonated exhausts? im after a milltek full system. good idea or not?

Resonated as the silencer still, ie the middle box.
Even without it might not be he sound you need, have a search been covered loads.

good systems mate but like lee says even with no middle box the milltek are too quiet, had a full system on my S3 and wish id got a blueflame,

With a decat the milltek resonated is still loud, if you drive eco style then its nice and quiet but when giving the beans it really comes to life. I have had both and the res is better imho.

i have a resonated miltek and love it... im not into loud exhausts in the slightest any more.

the resonated cat back has a nice burble and dies off further up the rev range to motor way driving is not boomy at all.

all depends what you want but from what i read before buying even the non resonated isnt silly loud

i've just decatted my resonated Milltek after ages of moaning i wanted pops, bangs and the like but i can safely say im VERY happy with my resonated system... wouldnt go back at all...
