Will scorpion resonated gpf catback fit on a non gpf leon cupra?

Hi all,

I have a 2017 Seat Leon Cupra ST 4drive. I would like to get a different exhaust for some more sound. I am interested in the sound of scorpion exhausts. However, it has to be resonated because I don't want to wake to whole neighbourhood.

Now I've done some research. Scorpion does not have a specific resonated exhaust for the 2017 pre GPF ST 4drive model. But I asked scorpion themselves the question and they said that the resonated catback for the GPF model will probably fit the pre GPF car, they just have not tested it out.

Can anyone say with certainty that this is indeed the case? And do you have this setup? What does it sound like?

I am also interested in changing the downpipe to one with a sports cat at the same time.

Thanks!

Lars

A bit late but I´m in a similar situation with Scorpion. And I dont think a gpf system fits the non-gpf. Not without changing out the pipe that connects to the DP/cat.

I would love to give Scorpion a try on my 2018 non-gpf Leon Cupra ST 4wd but they have not checked this specific model for fitment. They do however have an exhaust for the Leon Cupra ST carbon edition, also non-gpf.

Shouldnt the layout be the same on the carbon edition as on the regular Leon Cupra 300 ST 4wd? Or is the diffuser openings for the end pipes and/or back boxes different?

Cheers
