Non res will have a rear silencer but no middle. Res will have a middle and rear silencer.
Although some will have middle silencer and no rear, as in milltek for cupra r

Resonated = Back Box and Middle Box

Non Resonated = Backbox

or sometimes Middle and no Back

If your referring to a milltek system for a uk spec cupra r they only do a race system so it has a middle silencer but no rear silencer.
Resonated and non resonated does not apply to the R system

I think you have that the wrong way around

If you are not going for a sport cat then go for non res. I love mine

i cant decide what miltek to go for, i have a 2.0 tdi pd140, i really don't want it loud at idle just when your booting it, would res be best or this?

non res on a diesel i would of thought, it should be quiet unless you boot it i think

I think anyone with a diesel would agree there isnt any point getting a res exhaust cuz there wont really be any sound difference, Im not a diesel owner myself tho so if anybody wants to say their opinion from owning one? lol
