Hi all,

I have recently moved on to an Mk2 Leon FR from a Mk5 Golf. I miss the auto lights function and wondered if this can be retrofitted? If so, how hard is it to do and what parts do I need?

I have VCDS so coding is not a problem.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info. Do you know the part number for the sensor at all?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I am looking to go this route and I have a question. If I was to buy the above parts, where will the light sensor plug into? I've been looking at the Chinese copies as well with the light sensor attached, and might just decide to try and modify one if using an OEM light sensor would require a lot of extra wiring or taking the dash apart.
