Retrofit front dual usb port?

Hi All, I've got a Leon FR Mk3 (2016) it has a single full link capable usb port in the front. Can I replace the single usb port module I have with the dual port one that I have seen in the MK3.5 (2017 - 2020) models? Has anyone done this?....and would I need to do any re-wiring?
