rear electric windows to a FL Leon S (UK) Reference (IRL)? Is it possible/difficult?

I'm still procrastinating and debating whether to change to a 12 Leon Style later in spring or to go for the Special Edition Reference that is €3,000 notes less and has 16" alloys, front fogs, air con, electric & heated mirrors, MFSW and onboard comp but misses cruise control, full climate, lights coming home function, 2 more speakers, rear electric windows and my treasured leather steering wheel (don't laugh..)

First, is it something a home mechanic can do to replace a standard MFSW with airbag as fitted to car with a leather MFSW from ebay, essentially complete but without airbag module?

I have fitted a VW RNS 510 to my 07 Leon, will this transplant OK to a FL Leon?

How expensive/difficult/possible is it to retrofit cruise control to said same car?
Likewise, is it possible to put in rear electric windows? (Ok, maybe not that one...)

TIA,
Roy

You need a high line steering wheel control module (look on Ross-Tech for the correct one). You may also need a VagCom cable. I've done this on mine but I only have the volume buttons working. I don't know if this is due to incompatibility with the RNS510 or because the control module I put on was quite a bit older (CB>G). I've not looked into it really as I was only bothered about the volume buttons anyway.

Tried every variation of coding under the sun. Changed the settings in Module 16, the Radio/Navigation (39&77?) and the Bluetooth module. Doesn't make the slightest difference. Pretty sure it is wired in right as the volume button works properly and the steering wheel lights up (and the lights go off pressing the outer two buttons).

For the wiring i meant for the Rns as, never done a seat but dabbled with Audi's RNSE, they sometimes req adapter looms. In that case id guess the steering electric control unit doesn't have full functions available.
