Anyone suggest where this revo remap can be done in scotland for a LCR.?

Would star performance in glenrothes do it? Been a few years since i was last there.

I've not as yet bought a LCR but it wont be coming home until it has had one, thats if i dont buy one with it already.

Thanks matey,

they can do it in Inverness apparently....

Whats this free trial all about?

Is this remap a generic thing or is it done to suit the vehicles current modifications/engine.

Thanks

stage 1 is generic
stage 2 is generic with allowances built in for intercoolers, tips and exhausts etc.
stage 3 is customiseable for different turbos etc.

the free trial is a program that is loaded onto your ecu that runs for 5 driving hours (ie key in the ignition time) then returns the performance to stock, it does leave the ecu with revo software but in a detuned state rather than deleting itself off the ecu.

Was just on this web site

www.awesome-gti.co.uk/rollingroad/rr.scn_10.12.05.html

Looking through all the LCR's with a remap of some sort they seem a bit pants really. Alot of these cars have REVO remaps and they are only making 10-15 bhp more than stock @ the fly, some not even that.??

Whats the deal here then, i thought a revo remap would give 265bhp/285torque

I thought it was wheel Hp i was looking at to begin with, but there are 2 links for each car. Wheel and fly. Even going through other RR days on their site it seems very common to only get around 240bhp.

their figures are strange on that day, generally on the rrs ive been on you a 30-40 bhp difference, ie 225 atw and 256 at the crank.

Some of the cars at Awesome days have had boost leaks etc - mines been there a few times with "issues".

In fact, mine was there that day (seven down on the left) it was that day that mine was referred to as "the one that sounds like a kettle"

Edit: Actually, Brendy's right - overall weird figures that day!!

Went to the SCN day (18/11/06) and got 226whp/248bhp.

I've seen 235whp/258bhp & ?whp/268bhp on different days at JBS.

Always been very happy with it.
