Went up to the NE rr day at Motorscope and got my beast on the rollers. It managed to kick out 342bhp @ the flywheel! :D

As the car only has a Revo stage 1 map on it, I thought it would be around the 300bhp mark like some others on here! When it went to 342 I was amazed! The car was making that much power the graph didn't drop off at all until he let go! The chap even said that it has too much power!

All in all I'm well chuffed! And the figure should be right as everyone else was making about what they expected!

Not bad, an extra 100 bhp for £500! :D

Thats a good result! I never saw yours go on, i left before. I saw a lads on here go on, it was mental! White Cupra with revo stage 2+. yeah the rollers were spot on my clio 197 made 197.3bhp

The rollers may have been out a bit .The guy with the 197 said it made 197 bhp .A Standard 197 kicks out between 177 to 185 .At the last cliosport rr day at rs tuning in leeds there were 6 clio 197s .They all got between 177 to 185 bhp.Even if the rollers were out slightly thats still a great result.bet its a real hand full on the road.

What was the power at wheels?

Without trying to look like I am taking the wind out of your sails, sounds like a majorly iffy r/r if the only mod was a remap.

Race a stage 2 plus Cupra and tell us what happened.

What did jamies tt make?

i was saying the exact same thing to everyone there !! even if you say that the rollers were 20bhp out, 322@fly is still pretty damn good for just a remap.

power @ wheels was 283bhp. if it is or isnt producing 342bhp im well happy with the way the car runs !!

also, there was a stage 2+ car there that made mid 370's (which is right) and my car went on about 3 cars after it !! :D so it cant be too far out !! well thats what ill be telling everyone !! ill win the pub willy waving competition now !! :p

Lovely motor mate, but like others have said, I wouldn't take that figure to seriously otherwise you may end up very disappointed if you go on another RR day (especially on a DD RR)..
It's certainly a heathy one and if you're happy with it on the road, that's all that counts..
That Stage 2+ car made 370 yeah, but Rich's made 410bhp, 2 S2+ S3's made 390+, Stage 1 ED30 made 360bhp and a stock S3 (bar twintake and cat-back) made 320bhp.. There was plenty of others that were way off too, just can't remember them all off the top of my head..
The problem was, it wasn't like everything was lets say 30bhp up on what they should have been. Some were way up, some were down and a couple were close. Leaving everyone wondering whether their results were accurate or not... Especially the ones (like yourself) who haven't put there car on a RR before..

i know not to belive it mate!! for stage 1 its way up on where it should. and i never really take too much notice of rr figures anyway, as its all about how it performs on the road. ill be taking it to an rr near me, which i beleive is to be one of the most accurate in the country then ill see whats going on.

but i reckon if i say its around the 320 mark that might be about right !! but for the moment my cars has 342bhp !! :D

283bhp at the wheels is more like it :)

My old car measured 321bhp at the flywheel and a little more than that at the wheels (290 ish as memory serves). So you are realistically looking more like 310bhp or something I would think which is inline with other remapped Cupras.

The main thing is the plot, fuelling etc which by the sound of it is good.

Where you taking it? Salford as in Manc? awesome GTI isnt that far.

yeah thats right mate. Awesomes about 5 mins from me, but its not there ill be taking it. im going to take it to Chipwizards near rochdale as hes got a very accurate rr there !!

yeah thats prob more like it Al. the plot is awesome !! torque curve is flatish, but the power curve keeps rising and doesnt dip at all. just starts to flatten out at 6,833 rpm. ill scan in the graph tomorrow !! and i was told the fueling was very good !!
