revs when chaging gear

I got this problem now. I noticed it quite a bit this weekend and keeo getting fault rpm higher than expected. going to try a new switch tomorrow

If the switch is anything like the one on my tdi they can be recalobrated by holding the clutch pedal down, pull the plunger in the switch out and slowly release the pedal. The tdi ones are on a ratchet system which resets it to the correct position. Just a thought and might be worth a go if someone has a new switch in case it goes belly up!

Just had a quick look and its as i thought, ratcheting type and therefore adjustable

I will have a go at removing the lower dash tomorrow afternoon and try resetting my plunger.
