Ok so have been thinking about the custom backbox which is meant to be fitted tomorrow and have decided against it. Direct line insurance say no modifications at all so I think backbox is just too risky! Really dont want to have insurance voided if I have a crash.

However I am looking around for an exhaust trim piece similar in shape and size to the ibiza cupra oval one. Anyone have any ideas?

when i was insured with directline their policy was simply no performance enhancing mods, so cosmetically you can go nuts, unless they've changed it since june :)

best bet for mods. go to their sister company's elephant or admiral if you have 0 ncb, prices are competative and they dont care what mods you have, just be pre-paired to reach deep ;)

rear spolier cost me £45 ish from sere motors on here and its in the bodyshop at the moment £75 for spraying and fitting myself and my current brake light fits so no need to buy another one. so all in £120

Cleaned up engine bay. First time it's been done in its 30000 mile life!

And just ordered some cleaning stuff off Internet such as hydra blade some cloths and polish so now hoping to get a nice day to give it a good old clean after I took it camping on the moor at the weekend. Hard to get nice days in cornwall though!!

Bit stuck on mods at the mo as still haven't sorted out new insurance company so bit restricted. Have been thinking about spacers for rear wheel. Bit worried that it'll look naff on 15" wheels. Any advice would be appreciated!

Directline, and as i'm under 25 they say no modifications at all.. whether its performance or just aesthetic.. so have only done a few small ones that can be argued. New alloys and tinting is out of the question apparantly!
Have had a look around and its going to be expensive to change companys before next summer..

right have just ordered some nokya arctic yellow bulbs. Was fed up of trying to find the whitest bulbs i could find so thought of being a bit different and going yellow...
No idea how they will look! could be awful! I know they're pretty popular of jap cars, but we'll see! Will upload pics once fitted..

Yellow nokyas in. At first wasn't sure but quite like them now. Great through bad weather! Looks a bit evil aswel.
