RNS 310/315 frozen and randomly restarting

Hi, the head unit on my 2011 Leon Tsi has decided to stop working - it's either a RNS 310 or 315, I don't know which. It's frozen on one radio channel and volume level - the touch screen and none of the physical buttons or steering wheel controls work, can't connect to bluetooth etc etc. The unit randomly turns on and off and remains on for a few seconds even after I remove the key.

Disconecting the battery didn't help and neither did trying a hard restart (holding the top four buttons down). Has anyone experienced this and, if you have, can it be fixed?

Hi, mine decided to do the same thing yesterday. Buttons and screen don't respond at all. I have a 2011 Leon TSi with an RNS 315 (v2.1). It happened while removing a bluetooth device but that might be coincidence. I didn't know about the hard reset method so thanks for the info, but it didn't fix it either.

Hi Hugh, I also have a 2011 TSi. I've had no luck fixing the problem although maybe one journey in 10, it all works fine. It's a weird problem for sure.
