So today I tried to install V12 maps onto my RNS 315, net result is it's now bricked, no more nav! And tbh I'm not sure sure on which is the best way to just from here. I've gone from replace/ update to an RDS 510 and back to repair my unit. From what I can gather from the net I've got quite a good spec on the current setup, DAB, park pilot displays, climate functions display, bluetooth, hands free phone calls etc and the afore mentioned nav. On an initial mess with the radio (only got it last weekend) the dab stations are limited? I was looking towards a 510 assuming that newer mean better, but reading some posts this may not possibly be the case? Also there may be some additional wiring/ module to be bought?

Checked it at about 3 hrs and looked 3/4 loaded, checked after another 1/2 hour and there was a message saying device error! I've been busy today so haven't tried to reload the sd card.... if it will? Assuming there may be an issue with the head unit/ nav.
