I have the cheap china version double din and whilst it does the job I want something a bit better quality.
I was looking at the Alpine IVE-W530BT which offers inbuilt parrot bluetooth + audio streaming and DVD player at around £350 including the interface for the steering controls.

I had a quick look and you can get the RNS 510 which will work with steering controls out of the box and can be had for few hundred more if I get the bluetooth module also.

What would you suggest I am not too bothered about satnav as I rarely use it and have a tomtom if I need satnav. I want good audio streaming from my iPhone and DVD for the kids, do need to be able to connect to an amp as I have my fronts and sub wired to it.

What do I need to watch out for with the RNS, I read a few mention of versions numbers so are some better than others.

Thanks in advance

Is it as good as the rns, I have something similar to the veyron and find the radio reception is not the best and you don't get channel names just the frequencies. also the Bluetooth won't download the address book. The other thing I found with my unit that if you have a DVD in it continues to spin even when you are using a different source.

Thanks

I honestly couldn't fault it.

Radio reception was perfect, station names and all.

The phone book function worked with a 4s but not a 5.

Dvd behaved as normal

That sounds good, is there any chance I could have a demo? I am in Middleton and work in centre of Manchester
