Hmm but would you really be looking at it from that angle? I think it looks OK from the front, no worse than the aftermarket DIN radios people on here have retrofitted.

TBH I don't have any issues with the standard SEAT radio, it plays MP3 CD's and I can plug a memory stick or my iPod into it. And it's the only head unit that looks decent in the car!

Well, looks like the Germans have managed it:

Seems the unit from the VW Touareg is a better fit as it has more conventional squared of edges. Got me thinking, would the Audi RNS-E unit from the Exeo work?

I disagree, looks mismatched and doesn't suit the dash at all. I looked into doing this but the cons really outweigh the pros in terms of fitting
