Road noice from front

I'm driving an 05 Leon FR, I've just swapped my fronts on to the back to get even wear from all four Toyo's and now I have hellish road noice from the front tyres, it's doing my head in, local tyre place say's go with it it will settle down, but I've done 300 miles and its not much quiter, theres no vibration just one hell of a howl, anyone out there come across this. Ahhhhhh

Similar when I swapped to Toyos a few months back. Lots more noise from the fronts than on the OE tyres but only on certain surfaces. Unfortunately the ones I use most days. The problem hasn't changed with the wear on the tyres. Having just read the other current thead about tyre wear I'm wondering if an alignment check might be in order?

have the exact problem with my yoko's , but only on some surfaces. never had a problem with the oe bridge stones. and its really loud aswell. specially on the old country lanes.
