well mine had went 1100miles without a wash mate just after a bought it lol..
and nearly the same again last wknd was doon south with the mate to buy his F1 R26 haha in evesham 880mile round trip

Still standard ie no map chatter

also having read up about them they were designed to be supersilent ie non diesel in sound

things such as a super silent chain driven setup designed by nissan (same engine as in a qaushqui)

idles quiet like a petrol basically bud

and its super sound insulted

example pic inside the airbox notice the foam to dampen sound

M9R Engine
The M9R is a family of straight-4 all-aluminum automobile engines with variable valve timing co-developed by Renault and Nissan. Renault calls it the M engine. Other noteworthy features of this engine family include acoustically equal runner lengths and a tumble control valve for the intake manifold, a "silent" timing chain, mirror finished crankshaft and camshaft journals, and offset cylinder placement.Control of noise levels was a priority during the design of this engine. The design of the bottom end, with an aluminium bearing ladder, allows better absorption of vibration.

As to suspension its getting left as is bud, came oot the factory renaultsport setup handling
compared with ibiza. its like compring a 1ltre corsa with a wrx sti.. nyt and day..
so defo not goin to mess about with it!!!
plus am getting auld my arse en back cant take collies anymores haha

I did mention to Graeme that it was super quiet. Does sound like a big petrol engine at idle. Shame the PD lumps aren't like that ha ha

Don't think it comes with Brembos as standard unlike ours? And no LSD either. Does have the Cup Chassis though I hope your mate never thought he was buying an R26 when he was buying it!

I'd quite like to see that actually.. Best of both worlds! Sounds like a petrol, MPG of a diesel!
