Which roof bars are people using? Does anyone know if the official roof bars are just rebranded Thule aero bars?

Not sure I want to pay £180 for them which seems to be the going rate, so if anyone knows of somewhere cheaper I would be grateful!

Also, if anyone can confirm whether the bars can be used on a car with panoramic roof? I have emailed Seat customer services but still waiting for a response.

I don't have any bars for my Mk3 but I've always used Thule bars in the past and never had any issue with them. I once had a set of bars from Seat and they were just rebranded Thule but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

I have an ST & the panoramic sunroof works fine with Thule bars fitted. However, I don't think you'll be using the sunroof as the wind noise when open is very intrusive.

Worth looking at the Atera range as well, they also supply a lot of manufacturers as rebadged OEM accessories and they're significantly cheaper than Thule. We had the basic steel square bars on our Altea and they were really good, will be getting either the steel or Aluminium version for the Leon before our hols in May, the steel ones are £95 and aluminium ones £125 at Roofbox.

Thanks all, will take a look at the Atera range along with the Thule. I have heard about wind noise with the sunroof open, but don't intend to with bars on.
