little help please
where the best place to get some roof bars for my seat leon need to take some bikes down to me cavern.
and how do i fit them do i just remove them plastic bits and slot them in ?

Seat bars are very good. Apparently Thule do aero bars for the Mk1 now.

Push down on the plastic bit with the gripper bit/lines on it and it'll pop up to reveal a screw thread.

I think theres some on ebay at the moment. Got mine the other day and only take 5 minutes to fit. Dont bother with the cheap ones on ebay unless you want to undo 12 bolts everytime you use them

I've got a set of the Thule aero bars - a bit more fannying about, as you've got to set up the "feet" to the right distance to fit properly into those screw holes, but once that's done, they go on and off dead easy - plonk '** on and screw '** in!

I use the Thule bike carriers too, they're really stable once they're fitted.
