Roof bars

Hi guys

I'm looking to get some roof bars to put my surf board on. My roof has 4 tiny little clip things in the gutters on the roof but I cannot see how they move.

Am I lookin for roof bars that clip into these?

yeah, thule do em about 130 quid! try ebay for seat ones usually go from 40 quid.

I've heard the toledo saloon bars ate the same?

dunno but its possible check with the thule roofbars check there the same numbers, then theres your answer. let me know though cos i need some for my bike rack

yeah keeo an eye on ebay i got some a bit back pretty much brand new for £40 delivered

be careful I bought a set for the toledo didnt fit my leon

genuine seat bars I bought but some toledos did not have the same system as we have with the 4 small clips over the bolt holes

I have just ordered Thule ones from here http://www.roofbox.co.uk/

They a deal thing on at the moment for bars and other bits, i got thule bars and 2 cycle carries, will be putting the skis on there over winter and dh bikes over summer.

Guys at work have used them and reconmended on uk-mkivs. Not a lot on ebay just now and the thule ones i could find were the same price as roofbox

press the raised bit and the rest pops up to reveal a threaded insert for the bars to fit to, i have some genuine Seat bars for a Leon 00/05 if you are interested (sold my Cupra - still miss it !) 01422-845808
