Roof racks ........

Rihto the weathers starting too warm up now so soon im gonna be crackin out the old mountain bike and start using her again.
It only managed too fit inside the car with both wheels off and with out a sub, but now ive got a sub theres no room so i need me a roof rack, anyone got any recommendations as too what brand i should get ? or will the ones all over ebay be fine ??

I have a thule one. It's nice and sturdy and seems like it won't fall off. Look on ebay for one in an auction. They generally go for £30-40 used.

I've got a Thule one as well - good investment as mine has lasted 14 years plus...

I bought genuine SEAT roof bars but sold them again as I didn't like the way it sat on the paint and pushed back the rubber gutter seal. Looked like it would permanently misshape the rubber!

I know what you mean about the gutter seal, however they all fit that way.

Thule has been good to me as well. I even have one of their cargo boxes.

right, I have a Thule Model 406 listed as fitting Ibiza 3 or 5 door, 93 on and a Cordoba 2 or 4 door 94 on.

They are exactly the same as this - (not my ad) - i.e. have locking panel over the side so you can lock them on the car, plus a red handled allen key to tighten them onto the car.
