Rubber car mats

Anyone on here got some rubber car mats that fit the mk2, been looking but can't see any, will some new golf ones fit?

Dog + Building site + carpet mats are not a good mix

I just cut mine to fit.

Have the carpet mats underneath for 'best'.

The rubber mat I cut to fit in the well and round the pedals and laid it over the top of the carpet mat.

The rubber won't slide around if it is cut right, and the carpet mats underneath are anchored with the screws that come with them, so it seems perfectly safe (i.e. the rubber mat hasn't 'crept' yet, so I don't think it's going to foul the pedals).

Birdy.... slightly off topic, but the stereo you removed to put your double-din system in... does it do MP3?

If so, how much for a swap? Mine is the standard Radio/CD version and I want my MP3 CDs back! lol

yep it dus mp3 but you would have to contact seat as i think it will need a code when pluged into another car but i may be wrong.

Not sure how much, make me a offer.

Halfords have clear rubber mats for sale, dirt cheap too.. Could try them.

I got some rubber mats from tescos and cut to fit, cut to much off the drivers and it slides around.

plus they always look dirty so im thinking of investing in some carpet mats from ebay, will have a look at the golf

Cheers for the tip... Id kept the mats from my MkV Gti (in case I got another Golf) Just been into the loft to get them down, fit a treat - and wrap round the sides properly so stones dont tend to get underneith!

Now the carpet Leon mats are in the loft!

Thats a slight problem... They do say Golf on them

With them being black rubber you dont really notice though!

Strange, I got 4 very nice rubber mats and a big rubber mat for the boot... made by Seat for the Leon Mk2!!!?

I live in Denmark... and I guess we are a little better equipt with accessories than you in GB!

i dont have a car yet to compare them with, but wont these fit r/h/d cars?

they are genuine seat mats, in rubber, and a choice of 2 colurs!

They look really good, think they will fit R/H/D cant see why not.

hi, anyone know if the back rubber mats for a mkv golf fit the leon?
didnt even know they did rear rubber mats till the vw parts guy told me, i didnt see them on the vw website (£22 in case anyone was wondering)
