hmmmm
arnt your on the new linear map mate? or is that someone else. dunno
anyways, Ive switched to the linear map and its bloody fantastic. impressive figures and the throttle is so much more responsive. the torque is lovely.
but the mpg has gone down now. before i was around 26 ish (i only do A-B drives, no motorways or anything)
now im hardly hitting 24.5
ive just turned the fcuker off now. will switch it back on in the summer months. ha.
Yeah I'm on the linear one. Your MPG figures sound much like mine, just been out for a thrash and averaged about 22.5. Going to wait until a bit later and go on a steady 70 cruise for about 30 or 40 miles and see what I get over that.
I guess if everyone that has Revo stage 1 is getting poor mileage then fair enough, that's just a consequence of how they do their maps. In that case I'll accept that there's nothing actually wrong as such, that's just how it works. Only thing is that Carl at Revo told me that they have two BAM engine cars both of which average 32 - 34 on motorways, which is about what I used to get.
Was watching AFRs while driving fairly gently last night, mostly on dual-carriageways, generally sitting at 14.7 on steady throttle, so doesn't look like it's running seriously rich on normal driving. Maybe I do have a vac or boost leak somewhere, not getting any fault codes to say so but maybe I have something leaking after the MAP sensor, I guess anything after that won't be detected by the ECU?
