S3 Lower Brace - Standard Equipment?

Hi guys.

I've been offered an Audi S3 lower front brace for my 55 plate MK1 LCR. Just been talking to a mate with a 4Motion and he's adamant that the MK1 LCR came with this lower brace factory fitted.

Can anyone shed any light on this as I don't want to buy something that I've already got?!

Lower brace the LCR has already, the upper one it doesn't though which maybe what hes confusing it with
Lower one is essentially a flat piece of bar with a hole either end

Brilliant; thanks for the clarification. What he's offering does look exactly as you've described; a flat bar with a mounting hole at each end. I can now concentrate on sourcing upper braces for front and rear (I assume rear will have to be custom made?) along with uprated ARB's. Not going for lowering springs as I'm already catching the front lip as standard!
