Sat Nav in MK1 Leon

Hi, just a quick post to see whether anyone out there has attempted/managed to fit a later MFD2/3 sat nav to their MK1 leon? I realise that the facia is different to the normal MFD set up and would need altering to adapt it into the centre console facia but appart from this is there any fundamental issues with attempting an install such as this??

Any help/advice appreciated.

Kinda. I have seen this install already on the forum and know that this can be achieved through a bit of fabrication. Was just wondering if anyone has fitted a later model sat nav system to a mk1 thats all. They look/function loads better and the only negative point is that they have a different shaped facia panel at the front. Is there any other issues with a system install such as this?
