Sat Nav out of sync??

Hi all,

as per the title, my sat nav seems to be out of sync.

By that I mean the wee arrow for the car is always a bit behind where I actually am on the road.

As you can imagine, this makes things difficult when navigating towns or cities with lots of junctions in a short space.

Is there any way to calibrate the Satnav to make my exact location more accurate?

If you have / access to OBD11 / VCDS then the following may help

Under control unit 5F Information Control Unit
Basic Settings
you have the following items
Reset navigation calibration - never used this but it seems by the title this will do what you want.
Reset to factory setting

Thanks for the reply - I have Carista - will that give me the same thing? If not, will the Carista Bluetooth connector work with OBD11?

I don't know because I don't use Carista but i suspect not (its more about error codes and pre programmed coding which this is not)

But you can always ask on the Carista forum on here and i think if you are on there beta equiv you can ask them to build if for you.
