Sat Nav - search by post code???!!!!!

I only seem to have the option to search for a new destination by address, poi or map coordinates - can't seem to find how to search by post code. Am I being stupid and missing it. Any help greatly appreciated!

Click on where it says town,when the keyboard comes up,in the bottom left corner there is a button marked postcode or a slightly abbreviate version of postcode written on the key

Thanks - just tried it, however not all UK postcodes are valid- so incorrect location with permitted code
Needed to revert to Street

think you'll find it's OK, but it's programmed oddly. when you enter it you have to change from digits to letters to start entering the postcode, then when you've done that it tells you that it has no valid information for that address, BUT IT STILL WORKS!!
just a weird way to set it up, and took a while to realise what was needed (ok - I found it on another forum before I bought the car).

I think it says that if it's just a private address, but if you put in an Asda or Halfords etc postcode it has info on that, so that comment don't come up.

Ah. That's what it means by "no information". They should tie up with the Met and Special Branch. Bet they've got info on most addresses....

Yeh I'm down on the black list, as in my younger days I used to badger the Gov about road tax, speed limits, cameras, global warming and all that type of stuff. Got loads of replies from loads of MP's, but never made a toss of a difference. Still a member of the ABD, but a bit dormant just now.
