I searched google there reading up on the best way to seal the joints of an exhaust , and read that when doing so on a stainless steel exhaust its best to use silicone sealent , rather than exhaust paste as the paste does not take to the stainless steel very well ?

Anyone ever heard of this ?

you can use silicone sealent on any exhaust as long as its high temp rated an with the paste it drys and crackes so it will fall off over time an the silicone will just stay like a rubber glue after a long time so i would say its better .. i sale it at work to lots of exhaust places like kwick fit ect
