Hi all,

So 2 weeks ago I got the battery symbol up on the dashboard. Referred to the manual and warning was for alternator. Took it to a garage after doing 19 miles with the warning light on and got a replacement fitted.
Since this the start/stop function is always not possible. I am wondering if becuase I did 19 miles with a broken alternator did this drain the battery? If so will it recharge back up or does it need taking out and charging?

All advice welcome.
Thanks

Well I have now checked the battery and its working as it should so that idea is now out of the window. Am thinking maybe disconnecting the battery but then I will have to make sure I have the radio code reprogramme key etc.
