As the title suggests does a breakdown service recover you your passengers and the car in the event of an accident. The reason I ask is a friend told me today that someone he knows was involved in an accident and the recovery firm said they could only recover the car and the lady and her infant child would have to get alternative means of transport, something to do with not insured to take them. As they were in the middle of the countryside I found this disturbing but he assured me it happened and the lady had to call someone to come and pick her up.
Anyone been involved in an accident with children on board and called Seat assistanceor any other breakdown service Green Flag etc. etc. and what happened.

Not Seat but this happened when my mate crashed his RS4 with me and him in it, a recovery came and took the car but they could only drop us off at a cafe that was on the way to the yard they were dropping the car at or we wouldve had to wait on a lift from the middle of Glencoe

i always thought it was the case that the car was taken and the passengers had to get their own way home
