The all-new fully-race prepared and manufacturer-built SEAT Leon Cupra, which will race in the SEAT Cupra Championship for the first time in 2007, will cost £40,000.The new ready-to-race SEAT Cupra race car will be available from November 2006, from when teams and drivers who plan to contest the SEAT Cupra Championship in 2007 and who have purchased their car(s) early can take full advantage from a longer free testing period. As in previously years, a testing ban will come into force before the beginning of the 2007 season.

I thought that I read somewhere that its faster than its BTCC counterpart :blink:

Similar yes, 300bhp turbo-charged with a DSG auto box, its very likely to run anti-lag too, but i'd expect the normally aspirated BTCC cars to be a bit more special, however won't be a great deal in it for sure.

Superb feeder series to full blown international touring car championships for sure. Great for the up and coming talent to hone their skills.

Oh yea agreed. Watched them at Knockhill the past 2 years and its some great racing.
