Well after my problems with the engine management light on my FR I did as my dealer said and rang them to take it in straight away.

But apparently they can't take it until Monday, or offer me a courtesy car. So I have to deal with £17k worth of car sat on the bloody drive for a week because the dealers are so crap. Argghhhhhh.

I've found the dealer that I use really good at taking in the car at quite short notice.

Dealers for other brands in my experience have been worse, getting a courtesy car is normally 3 to 4 weeks and often a few weeks just to get an appointment.

Are they going to recover the car from your house?

Which dealer mate? Since I'm not far away.

Richard Alexander in Huddersfield have always been pretty good with me for aftersales service.

Car has been in 3 or 4 times and never waited more than a week for a courtesy car.
