SEATCupra.net is proud to bring you an interview, which vehicle design magazine 'Auto Design' published with the head of SEAT Design, Luc Donckerwolke.

The designer comments on why he left Lamborghini, the future design direction of the SEAT brand and why he feels the Toledo was a mistake.

My ears pricked up at this bit:
"Effectively, that saloon (the latest Toledo)...did have problematic styling. Most of all, l believe that it had the wrong name. Let me explain - I don't see it as a successor to the Toledo, but, rather, as a completely different car. We are already developing the next version, which will still be innovative but will have more in common with the old Toledo, because in the meantime, its customers have gone elsewhere. Many, for example, have gone for the Skoda Octavia."

I'll be waiting...

Finally, looks like we may see the aggressive look of the Leon Cupra and Cupra R again after all! Current Leon is too soft for me.. May still grow on me though.
