After having my FR for about 6 weeks from new and 2800 miles I'm surprised to see how quickly the driver seat is wearing... It seems to be bobbling on the left hand side quite a lot..
Has anyone else had this or is it something i should get checked out with my dealer..
Mine aren't great either. Maybe do a search on a thread I had last week about something similar. One of the lads got a replacement under warranty i think. in a rush not so cant grab it and post it!
I've done just shy of 28k miles and mine are still pretty much as they were new (other than needed a wash). No stitching come out and no bobbling on any of the seats.
Hmmmmm - I have done 21K in mine and I am really unhappy with the way the driver's side seat is wearing will have to talk to SEAT customer services again oh joy....
I notice some others are experiencing drivers seat wear...I have an Ibiza Cupra that is now 2 yrs old, only done 12k...None of the dealers will touch the claim under the Goodwill gesture.
Also passenger sear Cupra logo is coming unstitched, this seat rarely gets used!
Have any of you had success with getting this/these covered under warranty? If so, how?!
And before u ask, I'm only small so it's not a big a** that caused it!!
I've worn two patches on mine within 4K this i discovered was down to my work trousers (combats with velcro pockets) when i took the car in for its first service i pointed out the ware and they replaced it for me thou it took nearly 2 months to get the cover in stock.
It's been a long time but I finally got both seat covers replaced under warranty on my Ibiza Cupra (07 56).
Mind you, it took me three attempts and two different dealers to resolve this. The second seat cover they refused to replace because there "were hairs in the seats" but in the end, was replaced because they cocked up (i.e. they replaced the drivers side with a different logo to the existing passenger side...!)
So my advice is, if anyone else has this prob, to keep on!!
