Hi all new to this. I have recently bought another seat Ibiza cupra. It has a resanator delete with back box delete and is really loud. If I was to put a milltek cat back exhaust and leave the resanator delete would it quite the car down or be the same noise level thanks

HI, A cat-back exhaust is an exhaust system with no boxes after the 1st 'Catalic Converter'.

By the sounds of it a Miltek would be exactly the same and the custom one (with the deletes) you currently have.

My advise to you if you want to quite it down would be to buy a sport's-backbox and take it to a local exhaust garage and get them to install.

Hi thanks for the reply.
Was tempted to buy this exhaust system as it has a back box so thought it would make it abit quieter than my straight pipe

Picture you posted looks like a milltek Cat back exhaust, will certainly quite the car down as in essence (apart from your Cat) you have a straight through pipe

I’m getting a custom resanator put on today as it is cheaper than the milltek and the shop assured me it would quite down and still keep the dsg pops as it’s been programmed in with the map and dsg map
