Seat Ibiza Ipod Cradle with iphone 4?

Hello new to this forum.

I ordered a new seat Ibiza Chill Yesterday, and have just been looking at getting a IpHone 4 Cradle/dock. to fit the cup connection.

I see that seat do one for £82 but it doesnt say whether an Iphone 4 will fit or indeed work with it?

if anyone knows please could they let me know.

You need to buy the iPod cable and not the dock as the iPhone 4 won't fit into it.

I believe the BMW cable works and is cheaper than buying the official Seat one:

Thanks for the reply, are you using it in a Leon? Because I think the ibiza cradle is in a different position! Might be wrong but looks that way on pictures.

Hi, I've got a chill as well, got my cradle off of ebay (proper seat one). Iphone 4 fits ok, will NOT fit with a bumper on. I modded the top springy lever slightly for a better purchase. iphone 4 works properly as well. Like all iphones, it will give a warning that the accessory (the cradle) is designed for an ipod, but it will still work fine.

Are you able to use the iphone 4 with the blue tooth and in the cradle so you are listening to music off your iphone in the cradle and then a call comes in and you can answer it using the blue tooth?

Do you have to by the cradle for iphone 4 to work , because i have an ibiza chill 11 plate with the usb function, i plugged my iphone 4 in using the ipod usb cable that comes with the phone , but when you push the media button then select AUX/USB it says media loading then it says device error ? WTF ! lol please could someone shine a light on my dilemma

the cable that comes with iphone/ipod is for computer use ONLY. it wont work with any other kind of USB slot. you need a cable with a box on for it to work in the car. see other threads on here about where to buy them. BMW one works fine.

I bought the bmw about 12 months ago and used it for my iphone and it worked great , however my phone decided to have a throm one day and wouldnt turn on or anything , switched it off left on charge all night next morning miraculously it worked but somehow reset all the settings by its self , walked out to my 11 plate ibiza plugged it in , DEVICE ERROR unplugged it then plugged it back in AUX/USB ? i then tried to tinker with the settings on the iphone 4 but still nothing worked. To make sure it wasnt the cable i tried our lasses iphone and hers worked , so if any one could shine some light on my problem obviously the iphone thats at fault i would much appreciate it .
