In theory you can, but tbh, i think it's a little bit more complicated than that, you'd need the sensors, and it enabled in vagcom, and actuators and stuff to alter the hot/cold mix etc.
(this is all guess work)

Dash would need to be out and as said above, a lot more work than just plug and play.

If thats what you were going to do, better buying a car with the spec im afriad. Sorry

Yeah I think it would be difficult to retrofit as its an entirely different system, not just the screen and buttons. I specifically hunted out a car with it fitted, its not just the functionality it makes the interior look a lot nicer too IMO.

This is the only reason i sometime think maybe i should've got Climate rather than cruise control (with my budget it was one or the other)

Everytime i hit average speed camera zones im reminded i made the right call as my temp dial has two positions, halfway or fully hot, if it needs to be on cold the windows get opened.

Tough choice Nightflight, still I think you made the right decision. At least Yuval has A/C, if only manual. The one thing I have found is that unless you turn the fan all the way down, and the air con off, you can't turn the climate control off completely. ( I hope Im wrong.)

I have both too. Wouldn't have a car without climate now (budget allowing). Had it on me previous car, and didn't get it on my wife's car (big mistake for too many reasons). Cruise is a good addition to have, helps with the old MPG.:funk:
