Was looking to get a remap I’ve seen stuff about the DQ200 gearbox but was wondering would it be worth it getting a stage one remap on the car or would it not be good for the car, I would get a gearbox map alongside it.

In my humble, driving style is more important factor in determining reliability than having a map or not.
Abusing a standard car will be sure to reduce its reliability even without a map.
You would have to have the DSG remapped to raise the torque limits and increase the clutch clamping force. If not - the DSG can limit the engine power, so negates any benefit in getting an engine map.
