I have black pre face lift front and back stylance bumpers in LC9Z and u can have them cheap if your interested.

Are you talking about the boot door as in is there metal surrounding it or metal? If so, then it's metal. It's pre-FL then?

Okay, I understand why I got confused, I don't call it a tailgate sorry! But yeah, it's not all glass, it's surrounded with metal.

Okay so now I've established for definite it's preFL what does this mean for the front bumper?

How do those images of whether the tailgate is surrounding with glass or metal effect the bumper? What's the difference in bumpers from pre FL and FL? Also, for some reason I can't PM you, think there are restrictions for me cause of my post count. However I am only looking for the front bumper and I can get it on ebay for 100£ inclusive of P&P.

Where bouts are you? And £100 inc delivery not bad. I have mine lying about doing nothing so would sell them and pm only after 15 posts mate. Can come to a deal if you like?

PreFL and FL difference is that depends on your headlights and grills which differ and cannot be mixed and match. If you have FL then all parts are FL n vice versa. Im sure this is correct.

Tailgate for FL, the glass stretches the width of the boot unlike th pre model

There were lots of styling changes to the cars including the front bumper but the easiest way to tell the difference for those without the knowledge is by looking at the tailgate as in the pics.

Is the paint metalic black? Theres a bumper on ebay here and it's black and going for 100£ inc delivery - although I'm not sure if it's A ) metalic black (although I assume it is) and B ) if it's pre-fl.

Also can I definitely change the grills on this one to block up the foglights?

I've sent a message to the seller asking if it's Pre-FL. See what he says, I have the grills on my current bumper, would it be possible to get a new one and just replace them with my own grills so it's pretty much as good as new? Has that been established, that I can do that? Both bumpers being pre-fl etc?

Getting back to the original problem we have

Your part no. for the front bumper would be 1P0 807 217 AA.
For the grill without fog light hole would be 1P0 853 665 for the left. 1P0 853 666 for the right.

SEAT also do a plastic repair kit if that's a viable option.

Where can I find the paint code? I've my manual here with the VIN number and stuff.

Getting back to the original problem we have

Your part no. for the front bumper would be 1P0 807 217 AA.
For the grill without fog light hole would be 1P0 853 665.

My current bumper is still currently intact, it's just badly scuffed and cracked that it would simply be better to get another one with hopefully the same color. I just got super confused because I didn't know bumpers with fog light grills were the same bumper. I wasn't aware the grills could be swapped.

There is a small sticker on the inside of the cover to the service manual you get or a sticker in your boot

I don't know if the body repair man is trying to do me over or not to be honest.. He did ponder over whether the bumper could be salvaged like - sanding it down, pollyfilling the cracks and spraying it again.

Should I post pictures? I definitely think I need a new front wing as its bent outta shape (the indicator light popped out) and it was pushed back behind my door and is just riveted from top to bottom.

Which is another question, do I have to take the fact it's pre-fl into consideration when looking for a front right wing?
