Going to change my headlight bulbs for something better.
Had a look at the headlight back cover.
How does this come off ?
I can see a metal clip at the top and bottom of the cover, do i prise these off with a screwdriver ?
They seem pretty firm to get off with your hands.
Thanks.

Hmmm...

I have xenons in my curpa and from what i can remember there is a metal ring of clips that pinch the bulb in and u just pull it out.

Obviously this will be different to a non xenon set up.

My guess is you pinch the one side and it "unhooks".

Read this. Take a look around, sometimes it helps.

Also checking ETKA for the diagrams.

That may help too.

Thanks for the info :)
Surley someone has changed the headlight bulbs on the Seat Leon FR and can tell me how the metal clips come off the back of the headlight.
I do not want to force them, just not sure how they release.

They just unclip by hand.

Once you have the cover off unplug the cable from the bulb and release the spring clip to free the bulb. When installing the new bulb make sure the locating tab is in the correct place otherwise you won't get the correct beam pattern from the lights and you'll be blinding people coming from the other way.
