The only problem with the Luna's are that the bumpers never really colour match to the rest of the paint work. :(

Personally I'd go for black, sick of seeing grey (and silver) cars. Get a leon and then make it bland..
That said, others will equally dislike blacks - hard to keep clean and perhaps similar reasons to me.

At the end of the day its only you that can make the decision for you..

Black is best when clean. You can't make silver look that much better by washing and applying waxes. Too many silver cars around now although th emk2 dosn't look bad in silver, like the mk1, it is not the best colour for it.

Black is indeed a pain to keep clean but looks the mutt's nuts when done.

I've just been showing off my black magic that I washed and waxed this afternoon in another thread...

What are you saying?

I have a Luna and no problem whatsoever with the colour matching.

Id hazard a guess what he was saying was from his bitter experience as well as seeing others in Luna grey was...

'The only problem with the Luna's are that the bumpers never really colour match to the rest of the paint work. '

Well I'm going to say Luna. Just to be different. Personally I wasn't that enthusiastic about getting a silver car, but it was my only choice. I really like the way the silver shows off the lines of the car. It looks fantastic in sunny weather (well it did yesterday after I'd finished washing it).
As far as colour matching the bumpers go, I really can't see any difference at all. But maybe my eye's aren't as sensitive to that as others?

No problems with the bumper matching for me either.

Only you can decide in the end, it's your car at the end of the day.

Silver pro's for me:
- Shows the lines of the car the clearest of all the colours (IMO)
- Much much easier to keep clean than black and less maintenance
- You can spot tar spots much easier when cleaning
- Swirling etc much harder to spot
- bumper grill more noticable

Silver Negatives:
- Blends in a bit too much with the other silver cars on the road (which could be a pro - if you don't want your car nicked!)
- lots of hard work / cleaning / waxing etc. only has a certain limit before you wonder if your 6 hours on the car was worth it

Black pro's for me:
- Love black cars - look nice and mean
- Look great when clean
- Rewarding when you spend 6 hours cleaning / waxing etc.
- Black looks good against red callipers

Black Negatives:
- Grill areas "get lost" in the black
- Pain in the ass to keep clean - a spot of rain or some dust and all your hard work's gone
- Lines of the car not very noticable, unless super shiny and in the right light
- Scratches, swirls, chips etc more noticable

(PS. my last car was black)
