No interior shots?
Do the brakes really surpass the Brembos? If so that is very impressive
Did you manage to get the traction control working at all? Admittedly this may have required driving like a tit but i found it used to impede perfectly acceptable launches on my old Cupra...
Nah as we were trampling all over muddy moorlands to get good exterior shots

they got a bit muddy inside. And there is nothing new inside them that hasn't been seen before.
No complaints with the brakes at all, other than a sore head after underestimating them and pressing too hard
Having owned an R for over 3 years, with varying additions to my brembo brakes, standard Brembo setup, then addedwith braided lines, brembos with carbon metallics and finally brembos, grooved discs, and DS2500 pads and dot 4 fluid. I just wish i'd had a set of these Cupra brakes instead. They are that good, good feedback, no noticible fade and we were pushing
Always hard to say what they will be like in 12 months, whether they will remain as good. But out of the box it stops, and stops well!
Traction control will start to reign you in like any car of this ilk, when you really push the envelope and then some. And yes it could impede the car from a rapid launch. However you can turn it off if you want to be a loon, it'll then light the tyres up. The Pirellis are weak link for both me and m0rk.
I never rated the P Zero Rosso's on my Leon R, and most people agree, judging by how many R owners change to GSD3's or anything better. With good rubber boots, it would be even better, and the TCS and ABS would very likely kick in less often. So i have to reserve judgement on it really, based on the fact i think the Pirelli's suck.
This isn't to say it was bad or awful, it could just be even better than it is. I have to say, hand on heart, this is one of the best handling cars I have personally driven. It was such a hoot and good fun to throw about. A huge improvement over the Cupra R which is ultimately crippled by its chassis.
