I have got a airtech intercooler. Great bit of kit. Kept the front fogs and bought a all black version so is very stealthy. You would never know it was there. Car pull so much better on warm days. Highly recommend

Sounds great and yeah i really like the stealth look with the black one! :)

Thats an expensive kit i can tell, but if it is worth every penny, then i'd be happy to spend the money! :)

Yeah it aint cheap, but cheaper than the forge kit. It is a nice set up. Got a garage to fit and the mechanic said it was very easy to fit. Overall i am really impressed with it.

The TIP and induction kit is worth it for the extra turbo noises alone, plus well documented performance gains.

I bought a pro alloy intercooler kit, nearly double the price of the Airtec kit, but a better quality intercooler,I've got forged internals too as I plan on fitting a big turbo eventually

Hi from a newbie to the Seat clan, looks like the Badger5 Tip and induction filter is the one that's raved about on here a lot, so one to add to shopping list, but slightly confused as to what to buy and in what order.

I've just recently brought a standard mk1 LCR and have seen uprated hard pipes to the turbo inlet, then there is the soft pipe to the turbo (from the aluminium hard pipe, left side of the engine), and there is also the induction kit, which the website says you need for the 80mm TIP pipes. Not understanding why need both parts (what is the hard pipe called if its not TIP?) and there was mention of more bhp, surely it helps the turbo spin up quicker and more responsive rather than out and out bhp increase (5-6 bhp max?)

cheers

Trev.

Hi. The tip pipe is the intake pipe coming from the air box and maf sensor. The aluminium pipe on the left of the engine is called a charge pipe. I would start with a badger 5 tip mate. I have 1 and it is a great bit of kit.
