My Car has now done 130,000 miles. At around 120,000 miles, the oil pressure light came on. It went into the garage and they cleaned the oil pickup filter in the pickup pipe. This worked for around 5,000 miles and the light came back on. I added engine flush and drove it home from the garage. (2 miles). I dropped the sump cover, replaced the oil pickup pipe with a new one. Things were all good for another 5,000 mile and I have the same problem again. the oil pickup pile filter is blocked again. Each time the oil filter and oil has been changed
What can be causing so much sludge that the pipe keeps on getting blocked with particals.
as a side note: I have had all 4 injectors replaced and reprogrammed after 2 failed and the car let me down. Could a faulty injector be causing this?
